borosilicate glass
Borosilicate glass is
also called Hard Glass. It is made of silica and boron trioxide and much more
resistant to thermal shock than common glass. Not only is borosilicate glass stronger, it is
lighter than common glass too. This makes it very suitable for lots of products.
Virtually all modern laboratory glassware is made
of borosilicate glass for its chemical and thermal resistance and it is widely
